JOB DESCRIPTION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
JOB PURPOSE: Responsible for the management of laboratory operations by focusing on training material development, facility maintenance and improvement, faculty and student assistance.
1. Takes care and maintains all the tools, instruments and equipment in the laboratories and dispensing area.
2. Keep the tools, instruments and equipment, dispensing room clean, neat and in order at all times.
3. Ensures that laboratory classrooms are properly arranged before and after the laboratory class.
4. Perform minor repair calibration and maintenance of all defective tools, instruments, and equipment and computer units.
5. Assists in requesting all necessary tools, materials and equipment needed in the laboratories.
6. Coordinates with the property section/warehouse to follow-up necessary request to be used in laboratories.
7. Conducts periodic inventory of tools, materials and equipment and comes up with a monthly written report, which should be submitted to the college dean endorsed by the laboratory head.
8. Issues the tools, materials and equipment to faculty and students for their laboratory use.
9. Maintains/keeps all documents pertaining to dispensing room and laboratory tools, instruments and equipment.
10. Performs any special assignment related to laboratory operation that may be assigned by superiors.
11. Identify and request all necessary and required tools and instrument according to the Chead Memorandum Order (CMO)
12. Perform as Faculty Assistant during laboratory activities and experiments.
