Duties and Responsibilities:

 

INFRASTRUCTURE

1.  Manage the day-to-day operations of IT group including downtime, reporting service

levels, defining and tracking IT operational metrics and provide status to management.

2. Manage overall capacity utilization of Server/Hardware environment ensuring it is

optimized to meet business requirements.

3. Oversee all aspects of IT department operation including IT infrastructure

communication (LAN, WAN, email, etc.) database, backup recovery regulatory compliance

4. Determine, recommend and implement hardware and software upgrades for business application

server hardware, network equipment, desktop, laptop etc.

 

I.T SERVICE DESK

1.        Answer and log incoming IT support calls into the IT Management System and “Fix on First Call” over the

phone or remotely if possible.

2.       To provide IT users with support on information and communication technology infrastructure, systems and

services being delivered through as per the agreed service levels with the businesses and users.

3.       To provide timely hardware and software related support to the computer users within the business in

order to meet business processing requirements.

4.       To perform preventive maintenance on the computing resources in order to optimize computer

performance and availability of computing infrastructure.

5.       To support the systems administrator with data backup and recovery tasks on the file servers in order to

maintain the information consistency and availability in accordance with Group IT policy.

6.    To collect, document and keep track of all IT assets in order to keep the IT inventories up‐to‐date.

7.    To provide the end users with a positive experience in order to establish their trust on IT services and

provides their feedback as a source for improvement.

8.    To coordinate with project manager on execution of project activities in order to compliment and contribute

in‐house on project based initiatives.

9.    To do any other tasks to be assigned by the Management from time to time which is relevant to the job.

 

PROCUREMENT

1.  Purchase hardware and software following set procedures with guidance from the Senior IT Manager.

2.  Obtain hardware and software quotes on behalf of users and other IT team members.

3.  Follow software purchasing guidelines and liaise with the Network Manager to ensure software is

compatible with the company network.

4.  Advise IT Support Staff of all relevant hardware/software deliveries.

 

I.T ADMINISTRATION

1. Manage the implementation of projects relating to company’s software, hardware, networks or other IT       system

2. Implements new hardware or software initiatives while retaining legacy supports, as well as conduct risk and    benefit analysis after migration or deployment has been completed.

3. To develop and maintain employee records and other records, reports and logs to conform to government

regulations.

4. Maintain the IT Asset Management System ensuring that all assets are recorded and updated/removed

when required.

5.       Provide general administrative support to the IT Support Team .

6.       Maintain staff accounts for email, management information system and action approved user

account updates.

7.  Coordinating with ISP, vendors and suppliers for support, system and network testing, configuration                              implementation, maintenance and problem isolation on system, network and telecommunication.

8.   Managing day to day system and Network Administration.

9.   Supporting, isolating and troubleshooting computer problems experience by computer users.

10.  Maintaining and monitoring of local file servers and NAS.

 

DOCUMENTATIONS

1.       Writing reports, proposals, and other documentations.

2.       Answering of IT Audit issues.

3.       Keeping and filling of all IT related documents.
