Duties & Responsibilities:

 

1          Manages $1 million and below projects

2         Acts as Project Manager or Engineering Manager of EPC or E-Package type

projects

3         Organize Proposal/project task force and staff allocation

4         Prepares project technical proposals and cost estimates

5         Expedites manpower acquisition and its allocation within the project

6         Leads in the initial planning of project execution strategy

7             Assist the PJ Manager and the Engineering Manager in establishing the project and engineering execution strategies

8             Organizes an alignment session between Client and between engineering disciplines to define clearly scope of work

9         Prepares or assists in the preparation of project schedule.

10       Leads in coordinating all important aspects of a project.

11            Facilitates job interfacing with various disciplines, procurement and construction group

12            Ensures uniformity of design practices and standards throughout project execution covering both engineering documents and vendor document review

13       Provides instructions and advice to project engineers

14            Prepares project specification and systems or processes for the execution of project

15            Coordinates with Client and Engineering disciplines for smooth project execution

16       Ensures adherence to the quality system of the company

17            Controls and monitors all day to day activities to ensure project is executed based on plan and expectation

18            Handles and controls documentation, distribution of the project documents, provides        information and provides correspondences to customer and other departments

19            Coordinates with engineering disciplines and with Client regarding design information needed for the project to ensure smooth execution of the project

20       Assists disciplines in handling change of items

21            Prepares various reports: progress reports, status reports, and lessons learned report, close out report and project record book

22       Forecasts activities for proper planning

23       Coordinates EPC cost estimation

24            Develops or creates computer applications/programs in the course of employment which may be necessary and practicable under the circumstances to streamline, simplify or, speed-up the operation of the department, to which employee is assigned or  the Company, as a whole
