Technology Asset Operations (TAO):
DAF (Data center approval forms)
Ensuring IT operations effectiveness, IT availability/continuity and minimizing services interruptions by leveraging consistent governance, Practices, tools, methodologies, metrics and measurements.
TAO provides services and support on behalf of all LOBs and Technology teams within Wells Forgo.
Handles internal ordering, external purchase facilitations and financial allocation for hardware platforms.
Works on procuring hardware products like Infrastructure, products, and custom servers. Storage inventory items, I-series/mid range and mainframe products, , hardware upgrades and accessories, hardware and software maintenance related servers.
Work on data center approval forms and categorize production to different accounting terms.
Responsible for collecting project requirements requesting quotes from vendor and creating purchase order request to enterprise procurement.
Co-ordinate with different LOBs, Vendor, Data centers by assisting procuring the required products for Data center globally.
Vendor Management (VM):
VM works on renewing hardware and software maintenance/support for existing inventory post warranty period.
Runs inventory report from PAC2000, analyze and research the inventory works with supplier to compare Wells Forgo inventory list, supplier inventory list to get a budget quotes for further negotiations.
Coordinates with LOB Partners to get the Inventory validated when required. Conduct inventory true-ups in accordance with maintenance schedule definitions.
Works to help TOG achieve objectives through consolidation of agreements and management of inventory to minimize duplication.
Forecasts maintenance expense in line with business expectation, developing skills and processes for full accountability.
Identifies and tracks cost avoidance by working on Decommission of assets which are disposed.
