·          Analyze production plan from master scheduler and convert it effectively on daily plan before issuance to production team.

·          Daily monitoring of production result and release daily report with the whole team.

·          Provide recovery plan in cases that original plan didn’t materialize and escalate possible effect on delivery metrics and adherence.

·          Coordinate with the appropriate team that can be the possible cause of not meeting the target and look for all opportunities to improve.

·          Incorporate company’s goal and metrics in every plan and decision making.

·          Create plan to achieve target line and daily adherence at the end of the year.

·          Create plan to achieve target or even maximum number of produced goods at the end of the year.

STAFF ENGINEER 3 (PLANNER)

BROTHER INDUSTRIES PHILIPPINES INC.

Tasks

·          Review and analyze received demands and create sales order based on parts availability and production capacity (using SAP system).

·          Negotiate with the customer’s sales department in cases that demand can’t be meet due to some problems (critical parts status, production capacity, etc.) and make suggestions for the recovery and possible delivery of delayed orders.

·          Create production plan based on the settled quantity with the customer.

·          Issue and discuss the finalized daily plan to production section.

·          In any cases that plan can’t be done due to sudden reasons (parts shortage, natural phenomenon, lack of manpower, etc.), immediately analyze ways to recover and issue revised production plan.

·          Monitor production actual output versus production plan.

·          Maintain master needed for production planning (material master, BOM, routing, etc.) using SAP system

·          Monitor issuance and implementation of Design Change Information (new models, changes in parts) received.

STAFF ENGINEER (BUYER)

Tasks

·          Analyze production’s plan to be able to create forecast and purchase order to supplier.

·          Create effective delivery schedule to ensure that there is enough raw materials to support production plan.

·          Monitor and control delivery status to meet DOS (Days of Stock) to lessen inventory cost yet ensuring that there is enough stock for continuous production flow.

·          Investigate production abnormalities concerning parts availability.

·          Create possible countermeasures if line stop occurs on the production area concerning parts status.

·          Coordinate with other concerned sections due to problems encountered for common reference of all and then establish improvements for it.

·          Submit monthly KAIZEN report to contribute for department’s continuous improvement as well as for the whole organization.
