• Performs complex, planned tasks and repair work on plant, equipment and structures, updating the Supervisor on the status of work activities and reporting any abnormalities or incidents as required.

• Conducts continuous improvements initiatives on AIP, 5S, and TPM.

• Performs vibration checks and monitors temperatures and pressures. Checks oil levels and flows. Takes immediate corrective measures while reporting unacceptable findings to supervisor
• Carries out day-to-day tasks relating to planned preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment and components in the respective Operations, and ensures that work processes are implemented as designed and in accordance with OEM requirements
• Carry out day/shift duties within a team of technicians and contractors.
• Performs all the PM’s, running inspections & Checklists on daily basis.
• Ensures that all preventive maintenance works are carried out in accordance with the safety.
• Supports the Mechanical Technicians with the effective implementation of the maintenance plans, highlighting deviations from plan to the Mechanical Supervisor as appropriate, in order to ensure all mechanical equipment are well maintained and to optimize availability.

• Leads the Technician 1 on troubleshooting and repair activities.
• Assist the process and quality engineer in any product qualifications to ensure that all product specification requirements are met.
• Initiates improvement projects and engineering evaluations to facilitate process optimization, product and process yield improvement, high material utilization and scrap reduction
• Optimizing manufacturing equipment performance by implementing established effective maintenance procedures, with the major objectives of improving machine uptime & yield and effective controls in spare parts consumption.
