The four-year academic, professional & technical trainings, workshop-seminar and work experiences that I have undergone has equipped me to be competent, credible, reliable and productive technical staff member in your firm.
I am MERRY WAYNE A. ESTARES, RCHEM, a graduate of BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN CHEMISTRY from the University of San Carlos last April 2016 and has passed the Chemist Licensure Examination taken on October 2016.
I am presently connected with Treasure Island Industrial Corporation- Chemicals and Paints Division an ISO 9001:2015 certified, as a CHEMIST under the Research and Development Department.
Formulation, ensuring reproducibility, develop new product lines, analyses and verifies trial samples, performs raw material evaluation, substitution, submits and creates technical reports on investigations, closure and troubleshooting of Production Batch Issues and Problems, and addresses market research results on different coating products are few of my major responsibilities. In addition, a Laboratory Assistant is in my direct supervision which assists me in all of my technical works.
Further, I assume an additional function in the department as the Safety Officer in the where ensuring that safety precautions and measures are well-followed and executed and is up to-date through research and re-orientation of all personnel, identifying all the potential hazards and risks inside the laboratory and collaborates with the team in addressing these hazard. It is also part of my responsibility to draft incident reports; represent the R&D team during interdepartmental meetings on safety; and to report all safety-related incident. I have created and ratified a comprehensive user-friendly and easy-to-read-and-understand laboratory manual intended for all.
In addition, I also conduct laboratory orientations on all newly-hired R & D and Quality Control Personnel.
