• Provide technical support to the emergency health projects to ensure the quality health interventions.
• Ensure the emergency response projects utilize standardized protocols, policies and guidelines, as prescribed by the MOH, QRC and MOH and according to established best practices
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting using appropriate national register books and DHIS systems. Monitor, in conjunction with CHD, the disease surveillance in the areas of responsibility, providing technical guidance and support to health staff to make improvements to programs and services.
• Work with field teams to prepare success stories.
Having the day-to-day responsibility of directly planning and coordinating of behavior change communication approaches within the JHNP project in Mudug
Develop the training curriculum for the community volunteers, community health committees, CHWs and EPI nurses at facility level
Organize regular visit to outreach sites, health facilities to provide supportive supervision to all health staffs at facility level
Create and deliver health messages on basis of preventive health and nutrition care at community level with emphasis on reproductive health, pregnancy well-being, delivery by skilled birth attendant, neonatal and child health services (verbal, print, radio, mobile phone)
Organize and manage BCC/EPI and community for development (C4D) trainings, on the job trainings and supportive supervision on all health staff
Contribute to any relevant training on reproductive health, maternal health, and child health to Community Health Committees, CHWs, and MoH counterparts
Enhance community participation on EPHS services management and closer coordination between the health staffs and the community health committees
