PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES (KRA):

• Ensure planning, sourcing and management of materials at optimum cost and quality.
• Ensure maximize collection and usage of own recycled lead at lower cost than landed price. Negotiate suitable sourcing terms with overseas suppliers. Integrated planning and stock management for the entire division
• Enhance capability to produce required Alloys, Pure lead, Red lead locally
• Arrangement for hard lead produce from overseas market
• Benchmark lead cost against local and regional competitors
• Increase usage of local lead and increase collection from own trade channels.
• Formulate effective and dynamic strategy for local lead in order to ensure collection of UBC on regular basis
• Prepare procedure for interaction between company and local associates to ensure that there is no scope of communication gap resulting lower collection of UBC
• Ensure collection of used batteries as per ABP from local market under UBC program at competitive price
• Make frequent visits to the dealer’s shop & continuous communication with dealers about the collection status of used batteries
• Tracking of competition on local lead (strategies & activities) and recommended necessary measures
• Analyses and report on local lead collection performance with recommendation for improvement
• Align collection procedure of local lead in line with ISO 14001 requirement
• Coordinate activities with local distribution network, manufacturing, finance & accounts, suppliers/vendors, customs and C&F agents for smooth & timely collection of lead
• Demonstrate leadership in strengthening the local lead team through coaching and other action
• Ensure continual improvement
