R&M TECHNICIAN (Drilling Tools)

➢ Performing service quality checks on rotary steerable system (RSS) drilling tools.
➢ Troubleshoot, test, assemble, disassemble and perform visual inspection of electro-mechanical assemblies.
➢ Assist in reworking, repairing and modifying non-conforming equipment.
➢ Perform, complex and difficult tests with minimal instruction and documentation.
➢ Ability to identify and communicate technical problems by using logical troubleshooting techniques.
➢ Providing coaching to other technicians in areas of proven competence.
➢ Maintenance of RSS drilling tools as per service standard.
➢ Maintenance of electronics components eg: solenoids.
➢ Completed all technical courses associated with R&M Technician.
➢ Maintained all shop equipment and tools in good working order.
➢ Able to travel up to 30 days at a time if needed, to other Weatherford locations, domestic and international when needed.

➢ Create a non-conformance report for those parts, collars, driveshaft’s, manifold and all the parts/collars that needs to send for repair or possible for scrapping.
➢ Prepare the repair DWG’s for the parts/collars that will be sent for repair including the DWG repair instructions on what they’re going to do whether it will be for shot peening, laser welding, carbide coating, Inconel coating and etc.
➢ Coordinates with the procurement department regarding to which vendors will the non-conformance parts will be sent for repair.
➢ Maintaining a proper tracking on all those inspected child assets by ensuring the parts won’t be missing from our facility or from our care.
➢ Coordinates with third party inspector for the NDT, NS2 & DS1 inspection.
