Job Description:

–      Collates, analyzes and interprets data on the entire distribution system, undertakes data verification and quality control to ensure the integrity and consistency of the data collected;

–      Conducts periodic engineering analyses/distribution system modeling and similar studies to identify potential trouble spots, improve system reliability and power quality, and reduce system losses;

–      Formulates and recommends measures to be taken to —

o   ensure a reliable and efficient distribution system

o   attain and maintain a dependable power quality

o   reduce the over-all system loss to a single digit

–      Conducts line surveys/staking, plans and designs the construction of proposed distribution lines, preparation of cost estimates, and the inventory and close-out of work orders;

–      Maintains a database on the distribution system of the cooperative;

–      Coordinates with and assists the Construction & System Improvement Section in in the conduct of inventory and preparation of final print of completed construction and rehabilitation work orders (WO) and ensures the immediate close out of those WOs;

–      Assists the Head, Planning & System Design Section in the preparation of reportorial and regulatory requirements or necessary data/reports from the department.
