Print course development

 

Ø  Develop, produce and maintain quality of print, online and multimedia materials;

Ø  Attend course team meetings and discussing feedback from student evaluation forms and course writer’s tutorial visits, assessment results;

Ø  Identifying in consultation with the course writer the level of work required for minor adjustment courses;

Ø  Drawing up a work schedule for courses assigned by the Senior Instructional Designer; Workflow monitoring and progress reporting to the Senior Instructional Designer,

Ø  Integrating graphics and multimedia elements, • Inserting texts and graphics in course materials, Performing final checks and signing off on course materials submitted for printing;

Ø  Attending to queries from students and staff regarding course materials;

Ø  Performing galley and random checks.

 

Multimedia & online course development

 

Ø  Assist course writers in the preparation of online content—template, layout and editing;

Ø  Design and develop learning activities in the Learning Management System;

Ø  Produce multimedia components in conjunction with the Instructional designer and support staff; Produce master copies for DVDs and CDs;

Ø  Check final online and multimedia components before the ‘go-live’ date;
