Summary of Duties and Responsibilities in Project Management Team (PMT) /Construction Field:

 

·         Review engineering documents and resolved technical issues.

·         Liaises between Proponent, Inspection Division, Engineering, Contractor and Subcontractors to discuss and resolved any Electrical concerns.

·         Render closed supervision of field Electrical activities to ensure that the project has been completed according to the respective plans, specifications, schedules, procedures and quality standards.

·         Ensures compliance with the Company’s QHSE as well as Work Permit, Policies and Procedures and conducting Job Hazard Analysis.

·         Review and evaluate scope of works, Electrical IFC drawings and coordinates Electrical interfaces with various Constructions discipline to avoid conflicts.

·         Attend Company’s regular meetings, project visits for work progresses and quality control.

·         Reviews Contractors’ Method of Statement, electrical quality assurance and quality control programs, inspection and test plans, installation, testing, pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures.

·         Meetings between the Contractor and concerned departments / organizations to resolve any Electrical punch listing issues / Mechanical Performance Closeout System (MPCS) closure of items.

·         Coordinates and Certifies contractor’s monthly claim Electrical activities progress completion and updates.

·         Assists the project team by providing input for the development of project schedules in cooperation with the construction engineers and planners.

·         Knowledgeable in NEC, ANSI, IEEE, NEMA, IEC, Aramco standards, with exposure and energization of all major electrical equipment, HV/MV/LV Substations, Transformers, MV & LV switchgears, MCC’s, Motors Solo Run, UPS, Battery systems, FACP, Plant Lightings, HVAC’s and other related in Electrical system activities.

·         Promotes and maintains good customer and colleague’s relationship.

·         Reporting to E & I Construction Manager.

·         Lead electrical & HVAC pre-commissioning activities.

 

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities in MEP and E&I Inspector:

 

·         Multi-discipline QA/QC Engineer activities.

·         Implementing in all trades related to Quality Procedures.

Ensuring that inspections and tests are carried out and documented in accordance with the approved procedures and plans.
Responsible in witnessing and monitoring Pre-commissioning Test activities, review and check of test reports, preparation of relevant documents, and serves as coordinator and focal point between construction, Pre-commissioning team, and client.
·         Constantly focuses on corrective actions and compromise to quality documentations.

·         Corrective and preventive issues for defects on material inspected are being raised.

·         Contribute any lessons learned information in the area of Quality and participate in the sharing of best practices across the company.

·         Inspecting and verifying materials in accordance with company/industry specification
-Implementing Non-Conformance Reports
-Liaising with client and third party representatives
-Inspecting and verifying all incoming and outgoing materials including certification.
