Detailed Duties and Responsibilities:

Conduct field survey and gather the data required for the assigned project
Perform detailed design enginering with reference to the fundamental plans including cut-over works and cost estimate for budget allocation / CEA reference. Ensure that plans conform to OSP Engineering Standards
Endorse results of engineering study to concerned group for CEA reference
Implement Civil Works and complicated Copper / FOC networks (i.e. Proposed IOT, CAN and Building Riser Cables for new TOC, FOC termination, etc)
Coordinate with government, non-government and other regulating groups regarding project requirements such as Right-of-Way Permit. Approval from Building Administrator/Owners, etc.
Issue Site Instruction to the contractor whem deemed necessary
Ensure completion of assigned projects within the approved budject and implementation time frame
Established complicated network models detailed plans and cost estimates (BOQ, BOM).
Reveiw Plans; prepare project-supporting documents/attachments, prior to project approval
Ensure that all “As-Built” plans and networks alterations are endorsed to Records Management for posting to existing permanenet reference files for proper records management.
Coordination with other discipline, in relation to inspection, acceptance and turn over reviews.
Ensure that OSP Engineering designd/plans submitted for reveiw/approval and implementation are the most economical option without comprimising quality
Ensure accuracy of billed quantities and associated cost by Suppliers/Contractors
Ensure that all cost variation/s of the project are covered by an approved Site Instruction and duly approved plan revision
Prepare and or reviews of any design changes and technical queries.
Preparation of Clarification Request, Site Technical Quires and Site Modification Request (Shop Drawings and As Built Drawings in accordance to variation and change order.)
Preparation of weekly and daily accomplishment reports.
To review survey reports submitted by the contractor and perform actual cross check survey if any doubt occurs.
Participate on the weekly awareness and safety meeting conducted on site, insure safety is implemented all throughout on and off the job.
To insure work is carried out as per the latest revision of IFC drawings.
Conducted detailed engineering and survey of cable plant distribution system;
Provided checklist of work activities and monitors schedule of specific plants;
Reviewed and prepared progress report of plant construction/installation project;
Coordinated with other departments with regards to plant projects being implemented and performed other related duties from time to time.
·         Lead the construction phase (including supervision, installation, inspection, ccommissioning, test and  handover) of System.

·         Ensure that construction and the implementation are in accordance with the design and all applicable project’s and client’s standards.

·         Coordinate and resolve any technical issues among design team, construction team, clients, sub-contractors, and other EPCs during construction phase with minimum supervision.

·         Daily reporting to Project Manager at site office and occasionally reporting to Project Director at Main Office as required.

·         Perform other task assigned by Project Manager as required.
