JOB OBJECTIVE

I am looking for a position of Investment Analyst in a leading organization to obtain and analyze financial information in order to forecast business, industry, and economic trends as a basis for making investment decisions. Further, provide investment research on small-cap and mid-cap growth stocks, and make recommendations for fund portfolios and client accounts.

JOB CAPIBILITIES
• Stays current with equity markets as well as economic and business environmental developments on the state and local level that may affect investment decisions.
• Buy and sell recommendations on the basis of company analysis and portfolio balance within the perspective of immediate and long-term market risk.
• Inputs financial information into database for continual tracking.
• Uses computerized analysis tools to review equity market.
• Maintains close professional relations with banks, brokers, and other professionals within the financial and business communities to maximize the number and quality of available investment opportunities.
• Uses both quantitative and qualitative analysis, concentrating on financial stability, equity return potential, and contractual terms to select and recommend specific investment opportunities.
• Studies financial reports with a watchful eye.
• Prepares and presents investment reports detailing basis for recommendations to management and decision-making groups.
• Executes and closes trades; continues close observation of investment performance to detect early signs of potentially adverse indicators.
• Close observation of legislative, accounting, or tax changes that could alter investment decisions.
• Monitors technological developments for their effect on investment potential.
• Uses performance measurement standards to review company financial reports.

QUALIFICATIONS
• MS in Computer Engineering from Sir Syed University of Engineering & Technology. (Final Thesis Submitted)
• BS in Electronic Engineering from Sir Syed University of Engineering & Technology (Awarded Gold Medal for obtaining First Class Third Position)
• Certificate course on “How to write an effective feasibility study” from Pakistan Institute of Management (PIM) – Karachi.
• Certificate course on “How to implement an ISO 9004-2000 Based system” from Pakistan Institute of Management (PIM) – Karachi.
• Specialized Diploma in E-commerce from Crescent Institute of Information Technology Karachi, Pakistan
