Bestway Cement Limited is a premier organization in cement production having four plants under operation from which BCL Farooqia has 3400 tons per day cement production from Line-I & 6000 TPD from Line-II, having its own 132 KV/6.3KV Grid Stations, power distribution Substations & two Power Houses with 6MW from Line-I & 9MW from Line-II, making it equal to 15MW power production.

Responsibilities:

· In-charge of the WHRPP Electrical & instrumentation Department.

· Assist area in charge for trouble free operation & maintenance of electrical & instruments of concerned area.

· Responsible for troubleshooting of various electrical equipment & instruments for trouble-free operation.

· Responsible for Root Cause Analysis (RCA) & its report preparing during any critical fault.

· Working on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software to manage the entire inventory for electrical & instrument department of WHRPP.

· Manages, plans and provides inputs for CAPEX & OPEX budget preparations for the financial year for smooth operation of plant.

· Keeping a close on energy management by controlling the idle running equipment in order to save the cost and energy.

· Manages & provides process support for energy efficient operation of the units and plans suitable cost effective initiatives.

· Manages procedures and guidelines on energy management.

· Conducts energy & electrical trainings, programs & seminars and assist the area in charge and subordinates.

· Management & preparation of Purchase Requisitions for Material procurements.

· Manages & carry out technical evaluations, tendering coordination until PO Placement & Expedition of Material Deliveries.

· Mobilization of rental Gensets in specific areas to connect them with transformers and main bus.

· Preparation & payment of monthly electricity duty in favor of WAPDA against the generated units of electricity.

Responsibilities in both Projects:

Daily & timely supervising the quality of work performed by the contractor.
Keeping a close eye on the skilled labor provided by the contractor to analyze the quality of work.
Supervising and take part in daily morning & evening meetings to get the update of project progress to meet the target date of project.
Providing the best utilities to contractor in coordination with management.
Email corresponding with the Chinese authorities regarding different issue like late arrival of packages, defective packages, equipment not according to the contract etc.
Planning & scheduling of activities of project on basis of their priorities.
Instrument equipment layout, installation drawings such as cable schedule and routing layout, junction box termination drawings.
