Areas of Operations:
· Day to day custom clearance of both raw material & spare parts.
· Managing bank contracts / LCs & communicating with the bank in related issues.
· Ensuring smooth material operation for both Fabric & Hair care plant, managing of raw material.
· Managing of complete shipping documentation, handle communication with clearing agent.
· Daily coordination with suppliers regarding day to day material/ import concerns.
· In authority for communication between bank & treasury for the suppliers payments & for payments relating to custom clearance.
· Planning of inventory and store recourses.
· Coordinating plant logistics with regards to material arrival.
Achievement:
· Reducing custom clearance duration by involving the concern departments & devising an approach of pre-active processing that result in lessening of clearance time from 5 to 1 day.
· Recovery of stuck payments (unused clearing expenses) by working with the bank and concerned authorities & continuous follow-ups resulting in approx. 23 million received back in to P&G account.
· Warehouse process value addition & establishing a complete SOP for warehouse workers for optimum performance, also performing inventory audits results in less inventory wastage.
