Born in 1989, I am a loyal, hardworking, self-motivated person with excellent organizational skills who is eager to learn, with a passion to make a difference with the underprivileged. WORK EXPERIENCE
1.     Positions Occupied

From November 2015 up to Now: An employee of OFFICE OF THE OMBUDSMAN OF RWANDA working as Logistics Officer.

 

Some Accountabilities and Responsibilities for this post are the followings:

ü  Conduct procurement and logistics tasks including stores and inventory management.

ü  Analyze procurement requests, identify service providers and evaluate information regarding vendors’ performance in the areas of quality, prices and delivery of goods in view of the Office of the Ombudsman’s best interests; maintain and update databases of preferred suppliers.

ü  Solicit bids, quotations and tender documents; oversee the bidding process and provide support for procurement transactions, analyzing them for conformity to specified requirements; prepare purchase orders and ensure authorization is received.

ü  Follow up on purchase order (PO) statuses and keep the head(s) of unit(s) and respective Managers abreast of the estimated time of delivery or any changes that may affect or modify the pre-determined delivery conditions; ensure all expected merchandise is received in accordance with PO specifications, and that all goods are in good condition.

ü  Ensure that appropriate funds are available for purchases;

ü  Assist in the adherence of the Office of the Ombudsman to stockroom management practices in order to ensure there is no undue overstocking or loss, and control supply stock and monitor consumable materials in order to provide staff with ready access to commonly used items.

ü  Monitor maintenance and repair of office facilities, including preventive maintenance, and establish maintenance agreements with competent service providers when it is feasible and determined to be cost-effective.

ü  Undertake frequent field travel to sites to perform procurement and logistics evaluations and train field staff.

ü  Represent the organization in inter-agency including the procurement working group, security and the logistics cluster.

ü  Assist with the Oversight management of all programs logistical support services.

ü  Safety and compliance

ü  Boost and coordinate drivers’ defensive driving training to ensure drivers safety on the road.

ü  Work with safety and compliance manager in ensuring that Office of the Ombudsman’s security is in compliance with the Core Security Requirements.

ü  To perform other duties assigned by my Supervisor.

ü  Fleet Management

 

From 08th May 2014 up to 11st June 2015: An employee of CBHI (Community Based Health Insurance worked under the Ministry of Health but currently is the one of departments of Rwanda Social Security Board) working as Section Manager.

 

Some Accountabilities and Responsibilities for this post were the followings:

ü  Coordinating and managing the staff of Section of CBHI.

ü  Train the staff of Section about the Customer care and team work.

ü  Identifying the list of the people not yet enrolled in the payment of the medical insurance according to the targeted number of people should be enrolled.

ü  Preparing the plan of mobilization and inform the Local government Authorities.

ü  Implementation of plan of mobilization of people according to the mission and vision of CBHI.

ü  Identifying the health status and health equality, responsiveness of health systems to people’s on-medical expectations and fairness in financial contribution.

ü  Approving the financial supporting documents prepared by an Accountant of Section of CBHI.

ü  Preparing and submitting all the required reports either daily, weekly, monthly and annually, etc.

ü  To perform other duties assigned by Director of CBHI at the District Level.

 

From July 15th July, 2009 -08th May 2014: From 08th May 2014 up to 11st June 2015: An employee of CBHI (Community Based Health Insurance worked under the Ministry of Health but currently is the one of departments of Rwanda Social Security Board) working as an Accountant.

 

Some Accountabilities and Responsibilities for this post were the followings:

ü  Prepares payment of the invoices of Suppliers by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements

ü  Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information

ü  Documents financial transactions by entering account information.

ü  Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options.

ü  Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.

ü  Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents.

ü  Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures

ü  Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information

ü  Secures financial information by completing data base backups.
