Work Experience

2012-2013                  I worked for two years at St. Louis High School as a History teacher                         for the Senior level students (form 4, 5 & 6) and as a Social Studies teacher for the Junior Level students (form 1,2 & 3).

2015                           I applied for a work experience in the Ministry of Public Works and Utilities under the IT department helping in hardware and software diagnosis.

2016                         I applied and started working at Amalgamated Telecom Holdings (ATH) . I carried out various responsibilities including managing call services, Internet cafe receptionist and Telecommunications Exporter.

2017 September – 2018 March                         I applied and was accepted in the Seasonal Workers Program (SWP) and went to Australia to work at Perfection Fresh. The company held a glasshouse farming which I along with 19 more team members worked at.

2018 March – 2019 February

After my first SWP I returned and continued working at ATH awaiting my next trip.

2019.                        I continued my SWP but with a different farm. I worked for PGP in different farms in Victoria and South Australia. The company was a shifting company depending on the seasonal fruit picking of various fruits

Training/Workshop

2013                          I attended a workshop related to my field as a teacher which is the Continuation in Community Education provided from the USP. The workshop lasted for 3 weeks and covered a full range of creative teaching.

2014                          I enrolled and attended the Business Tax short course provided by the Kiribati Institute of Technology which lasted for 6 months. The course educates students how to carry out Tax transactions within a company.
