FINAL YEAR PROJECT
Production of Hydrogen by Sorption enhanced chemical looping steam reforming (SE-CLSR) of
methane
The scope of the project was to devise a commercial process for the production of H2 by joining
the conventional process of CH4 reforming with chemical looping by using Nickel-Oxide catalyst
and sorption of CO2 by using the Calcium Oxide bed as a sorbent within the same reactor.
