New product introduction and production lines transferred from USA into Mexico operations,
successful implementation of electronic ballast lines (CL & SMT) with a ramp up from 1K/day
to 35K/day.
VMI and Vendor Consignment development programs to manage inventory cost reduction and
significant cash flow improvements.
Expedite components procurement for a supply base of more than 300 suppliers with a total of
$5M worth of raw materials in more than 3500 SKU’s. 90% of domestic purchasing and 10%
international (China & Korea). Developed VMI / VC programs for the top 20 high cost
components to improve inventory turns & cash flow.
