OBJECTIVES

Forestry Professional with extensive experience in various forestry operations, mostly engaged on time, space and resources optimal deployment. Guided by two main objectives which are improving the state of forests and maximizing financial impact. In accordance with these goals, I participated in a process aimed at obtaining an FSC certificate in Bosnia and Herzegovina. As a prominent expert I am a member of the council of the Faculty of Forestry in Belgrade.

EXPERIENCE

BASE MANAGER – FACULTY OF FORESTRY BELGRADE (2015 > PRESENT)

General management-supervision of all processes, coordination with faculty, scientific and educational work. Forestry management and practical activities which include forest inventory and mapping, data analysis and modelling,  tree marking, extraction path and forest road construction, operational planning, logging  and extraction technology,  standardization and  organization of work, log scaling, woodflow and dispatching.

By introducing long timber technology and  log scaling improvements i succeeded to reduce costs, increase effects, resulting timber structure with over 40% of veneer, and scoring highest average log prices in Serbia.

MAINTENANCE MANAGER – NAVAK (2014 > 2015)

Managing maintenance of facilities and green areas

FORESTER- “JPS SUME SRPSKE” (2004 > 2014)

Forest manager –  Management of a unit with an annual production of 100.000 m3 and over 20 employees. I made plans and reports, controlled field work, participated in negotiations with customers. As an advisor  I took part in the process of company reorganization  which led to its significant growth.

Forester silviculture – Tree marking for selective cut, shelter cut and thinning, projecting extraction paths and making operational projects. I participated in large scale planting operations.
