Safety Engineer from 12th May 2014 to 10th May 2015 under the contract from ICORRPRO at  Udupi Power Corporation Limited(Formerly Nagarjuna Power Corporation Limited) is one of the group companies of LANCO.

Safety Officer from 1st June 2015 to 30thOctober 2016 at Calvin Construction Limited.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assisting the Safety Manager / Superintendent safety to implement and create integrated Safety, Health and Environment Management systems and site specific standards policies.

Provide advice, information and instruction on LSC (Life Saving Compliance) issues.

Report and investigate incidents, injuries and hazards

Review and analyze injury and incident reports and data

Develop injury and incident prevention strategies for their area

Monitor local area compliance with Safety policy and procedures

Pointing out the risk at site if observed and explaining them or warning.

Checking if work permits available for each type of job at site.

Checking all the related documents available for particular work.

Make sure all workers if they are wearing PPE.

Reporting Safety Manager about all the activities going at job site and maintaining report.

Conducting Safety Meeting Safety Tool Box talks and environment check on site.

Explaining the previous day risk in toolbox talk and each person responsibility.

Review Safety procedures and identify areas of continual improvement.

Assist with identification of hazards arising from activities in work area, ensuring that, all observations are communicated to relevant personnel in order to maintain a hazard free work area.

Assist Safety Manager to prepare and publish reports on safety performance of organization overall and department wise.

Implement plans for the training of employees to meet company objectives on safety topics.
