1.     Project Period: Sep  2018 To till date (Ooredoo-Kuwait)

 

Title             :   LTE / 5G RF Optimization

Activity        :   LTE Expansion & 5G rollout Project- HUAWEI

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

·         Responsible for LTE Expansion & 5G sites SSV acceptance.

·         Responsible for 5G parameter Audit & KPI monitoring.

·         Troubleshooting 5G throughput issue, signaling issue, attach failed, no internet & Handover issue.

·         Responsible for LTE KPI acceptance.

·         Responsible for 5G Customer complaint handling & Optimization.

·         End-to-End responsibility of optimizing user experience.

·         Responsible for the acceptance report as per the customer’s requirement.

·         Working on pre 5G Technology like Massive MIMO (64T/64R) & different Sub carrier spacing.

·         MLB strategy for load balancing between LTE layers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Responsible for Cluster Report and their Presentation along with Single Site Report and Benchmarking Report for the Acceptance.

·         Responsible for Troubleshooting the low-throughput issues and provide Solution to resolve these issue and Confirmed the result from pre and Post Drive test Activity.

·         Responsible for LTE KPI discussion on Drive Test KPI’s and Performance.

·         Single Site verification and Cluster optimization of LTE Sites.

·         Responsible for Parameter audit of LTE Clusters.

·         Responsible for PCI and RSI audit of Cluster and tuning of PCI and RSI to Increase Minimum re-use distance.

·         Perform cluster optimization. Troubleshoot 4G drop, HO fail (S1, X2, Inter, Intra freq) and suggest changes to improve the KPI’s. Suggesting changes to reduce the Interference.

·         Responsible to Maintain the DL Quality of Cluster in each Phase with the help of Parameter crsgain(deboost), and Suggesting Physical Optimization on site such as E Tilt/M tilt, Azimuth Change etc.

·         Analysis of RRC Set up fail, RRC Drop, CSFB Failure and Handover Failure in Layer 3 message on Actix Tool with Justification and Proper Suggestion.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

·         Check LTE KPI’s RRC success rate, paging success rate, Handover success rate, Drop call rate, Erab Success rate , DL/UL Volume data, Max UE TX power rate etc.

·         Check the KPI, Performance monitoring & Optimization.

·         Daily Dump processing and analysis of Parameter Checking, VSWR Alarm (Major Alarm) checking.

·         LTE Optimization of cluster activities & SFT with respect to the Abnormal Rel. RRC Reconfiguration, TA Updates, RRC Setup, PRACH Issue, DRB Issue, RACH Degrade, CSFB, Overshooting Issue, RSRP, Throughput issue, SINR, Handover and Neighbors relations. Primary verification of drive data and taking necessary corrective measures, like Neighbor addition and deletion and interference analysis.

·         To Recommend Tilt, Power Reduction or Give TA Based Handover in Case of Overshooting Scenario.

·         Managing the DT team and performing sanity check on Drive Test data to ensure the data collected is satisfactory, work out solutions to improve the Drive Test KPIs.

·         To Looks Reports on Alarms, Statistics, Database, Handover Failure and Solve RF issues accordingly.

·         Daily 4G KPI(such as RRC Success rate, ERAB Drop rate, Cell Availability, RACH Setup Success rate, HO Success rate) monitoring on Cluster Level.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

·         Analysis for worst cells based on Drive test and OSS KPI’s for coverage and KPIs improvement.

·         Analyze the test log for signal strength, interference, coverage lacking, handover decision improvement, neighbor cell relation, cell selection/reselection for GSM.

·         Drive log analysis from Probe drop call test, preparing log file, Call testing, long call, short call testing, sector swap testing.

·         Major Dump includes Cell level, Trx, 2G Frequency & RNP Data.

·         Creating various Templates for analysis using various Counters used for Call Drop Measurement, Traffic volume, MR outgoing Cell-to-Cell HOSR, TCH availability and all others as per requirements.

·         Preparation of 2G drive test SCFT & Cluster report.

·         Traffic and Capacity prediction and analysis.

·         Preparation reports of Rx rev, Rx qual., event plots (call drop, blocked call, HO failures).

·         Optimization of network & Pre drive, Post drives cluster.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Optimization of UMTS sites based on Coverage RSCP, Qualities/Io, Pilot pollution.

·         Analysis of Drop Calls, Handover – CS & PS (Soft, Softer and Hard), CS & PS IRAT Handovers of U2G.

·         Primary verification of drive data and taking necessary corrective measures, like Neighbour addition and deletion and interference analysis.

·         Evaluating and analyzing Pilot Coverage, CPICH, RSCP, Ec/Io, pilot pollution & Accessibility.

·         Pre and post launch Optimization of the network .Optimizing the Cell by drive test, antenna tilts, and antenna orientation changes.

·         Verifying and taking necessary actions on recommendations for top cells.

·         To find the causes of the call drops blocked calls, handover failures, excessive handovers, poor quality, poor C/I, interferences etc.

·         Providing necessary recommendations for issues identified during benchmark drive test.

·         Analyze the test log files with TEMS 10.0.5, as well as checking Voice call, Video call, SMS, HSDPA.HSUPA, Soft/Softer handovers.

·         FTP test for both HSDPA and R99 (UMTS) and to verify the Download Speed on both the Technologies

·         To Check the Pilot Pollution with the Scanner and to verify the Areas with more than three Active set in the reporting Ranges and suggest the necessary Physical changes that are need to be made.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Actively involved in SCFT and Cluster Optimization.

·         To Fulfill Customer Requirements Regarding Coverage & Optimization Point of view.

·         To Suggest DT Team about Physical changes on site. Preparation of SCFT & Cluster Drive report using TEMS Post Processing, major Parameter includes Rx Lev (Idle & Dedicated), Rx Quality, C/I Average, BCCH ARFCN & Cell ID plot.

·         Involved in Optimization Team Management, Data logs analysis from Drive Test Measurements using TEMS 10.0

·         Daily Analysis of BSC Dump  for finding Discrepancy In Network if exists which includes in Parameters like BCCH,BSIC,Frequency Hopping so as to make optimum use of this parameter and avoid interference to Design better network.

·         Interference analysis Co-channel and Adjacent Channel for Rectifying neighbor discrepancies & adjacent Co-BSIC and missing neighbor to improve HOSR.

·         Analyzing TA report to find out Overshooting cells & provide solutions for the same which may include Antenna Down tilting, Azimuth Change Etc & Analyzing BBH report to know about Traffic (Erlang) Utilization, Radio Configuration & Major KPI stats to implement required changes in Network physically & logically as well to achieve Desired KPI value.
