Please note that I am looking for a career opportunity in Logistics based in UAE.
I was working for one of the Logistics companies in Sri Lanka which is Yusen Logistics and Kusuhara Lanka Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary company of NYK Line Lanka. My core job responsibilities were handling airfreight/ seafreight import/ export shipments from the point a shipment is secured till the point it is cleared or delivered in respective destinations. Also I was doing some part of the inside sales for the company by negotiating rates with shipping lines, airlines and other service providers in order to bring up the competitiveness of our businesses.
