Summary of Duties :

4) Closely monitors scaffold erection / dismantling work, permit-required confined space entries, crane work / lifting operations, hot work, equipment energization, tie-ins, and similar hazardous activities and. ensures that all relevant requirements are complied with.
5) Carries out daily site surveys to ensure only safe work methods are in operation, adequate fire and fall protection are in place, adequate welfare and first aid facilities are properly maintained, approved tools are being used and sufficient Personal Protective Equipment provided and properly worn.
6) Checks and ensures compliance of site work-force with the approved Safe Work Permit System / Procedure in the plant.
