I. Project Electrical Engineer – JQ International Construction, Inc. (January 2019 to July 2019)
Project with JQ – 34-Floor High Rise Building with 3-Basement:
i) Currently assigned as oversight Project Electrical Engineer of the General Contractor for monitoring Sub-Contractor’s work/accomplishment;
ii) Evaluate electrical plans against structural/architectural or other plans and provide technical queries to the management/designer for clarification of any inconsistencies;
iii) Creates shop drawing (in 2D and 3D model) for the following purpose:
a. to reflect actual condition on site
b. to provide reference for technical inquiries
c. proposal for any advisable changes with the electrical plan
iv) Monitoring the SubCon’s manpower in order to check if work activities will meet target deadline; and
v) Coordinates with different suppliers for the necessary materials needed on site and prepare related documents for reference of the Project Owner
II. Electrical Engineer – MS Peña Engineering Services
(June 2018 to January 2019)
i) Conducted Electrical and Auxiliary System estimate of commercial/residential establishments (i.e., 6 floors bldg, mixed use 48 floors bldg, 3-floors 12 units townhouse, etc.) which are used in the preparation of Bill of Quantities;
ii) Designed Electrical and Auxiliary Systems for commercial establishments such as 8-unit apartment, 5-storey Dormitel;
iii) Conducted site inspection to monitor accomplishments of electrical works
III. Senior Engineer – Distribution Management Committee
(March 2015 to June 2018)
i) Conducted minor research on International Standards for Distributed Energy Resources which can be adopted in the Philippine setting and report consolidated research to the board members;
ii) Worked as the lead staff of the company’s technical team that handled the creation of the Islanding Operation Guidelines adopted in the Philippines through Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) Resolution 7, Series of 2018.
iii) Monitored and evaluated Distribution Utilities (i.e., FIBECO, BUSECO, MORESCO II, and SURNECO) compliance with the Philippine Distribution Code. Conducted on site inspection to verify their compliances;
iv) Conducted minor evaluation on Interruption and reliability performances submitted by DUs;
v) Conducted studies on the monthly operations report pertaining to distribution system loss and other technical data submitted by DUs;
vi) Conducted technical research relative to the development of Philippine distribution system required by the Subcommittee; and
vii) Conducted consolidation and preparation of reports on the output of the Distribution Planning Subcommittee (tasked to evaluate and make recommendations on the Distribution Development Plan; provide recommended actions on the proposed major distribution system reinforcement and expansion projects)
IV. Engineer -Distribution Management Committee
(September 2014 to March 2015)
i) Monitor and evaluate Distribution Utilities (DUs) compliance with the Philippine Distribution Code;
ii) Assisted Senior Engineers in the following:
a. Research on topics related to Distribution System operations and its development;
b. Preparation of regular and special reports as required by the respective Chairman of the Subcommittee.
c. Data gathering and processing of information relative to Distribution Utilities’ system loss and interruption/reliability data;
d. Preparation of materials and minutes from Regular, Special and Subcommittee Meetings. Coordinate, consolidate and disseminate feedbacks from members of the Committee and the Subcommittees.
V. Engineering Assistant– Distribution Management Committee
(August 2014)
i) Gathers quorum for Regular and Special Meetings and coordinates the list of attendees with the Administrative Group for logistics preparations;
ii) Administers the logistical requirements during meetings;
iii) Manages and maintains records of the technical support group; and
iv) Performs custodial duties and minor maintenance of equipment (office equipment).
VI. Engineering Staff – United Power Systems Philippines, Inc. (ISO Certified) (November 2012 to November 2013)
i) Estimating Electrical and Auxiliary System (using AutoCad Software) of different projects (commercial establishments) for the company under the supervision of the Project Engineers/Managers.
ii) Ensures that day-to-day documents and records needed in the Project are controlled including those that are required to ensure the effective planning, operation and control of the project/specified activities (Daily Construction Report, Inspection Request/Report, Drawing Registers, Contract Drawings);
iii) Ensures that controlled copies of latest approved documents and drawings are disseminated to authorized copyholders, staff and subcontractors where applicable: pertinent issues of appropriate documents are available at specified locations and those obsolete records/documents are withdrawn from circulation;
VII. Electrical Engineering Intern – DIGITEL
(1 month, CY 2011)
i) Repair and install DSL modems and Telephone for old and new DIGITEL Subscribers.
ii) Part of the maintenance team to ensure continues high speed quality service to all subscribers.
VIII. Electrical Engineering Intern – CANORECO
i) SCADA – assigned in this department for monitoring of the province feeder lines to assure continued service to its local consumers under the supervision of the assigned Electrical Engineers.
ii) Engineering/Design Department – participated in updating single line diagram connection/load details for its whole coverage area.
