performance enhancing gases, cutting and welding products and other equipment consumables.

Responsibilities

 Raising Purchase Requisitions & Purchase Orders and Quotations for goods and services and

perform summary of quotation price comparison schedule.

 Assist in ensuring that accurate procurement records (Local Purchase Orders, Purchase

Requisitions & Request for Quotation etc.) are maintained, including all actions and documents

to safeguard the integrity of procurement documents, upholding confidentiality and privacy in

the course of my duty.

 Conduct periodic stock taking & physical cyclic stock counts according to company standards,

investigate and resolve discrepancies/variances.

 Close open orders- go through the open order and liaise with end users and suppliers to close

the ones that are not going to be delivered and follow up the ones to be delivered

 Receive supplies and verifies them against orders in respect to quality, quantity and price at

competitive prices from local suppliers and imports (foreign suppliers)

 Analyzing stock reports to ensure that inventory/stock levels are replenished to target daily

 Provide assistance in the administrative duties of the supply chain function so as to ensure its

smooth functioning and compliance to internal processes.

 Follow up, preparing and availing reports on pending purchase orders/ activities on demand.

 Assisting in supplier performance evaluation and rating and recommend action on poor

performance.

 Ensure that supplier contacts are well maintained.

 Develop and maintain effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, to

understand and interpret their requirements and longer term strategies to ensure procurement

can meet and exceed their requirements

 Prepare asset disposal plans and coordinate for disposal of unserviceable, obsolete and surplus

assets.

 Establish and maintain effective supplier relationships to ensure business requirements are

continuously met.

 Assist in handling supplier payment documents in liaison with stores and accounts.

 Ensure all material movements (consumption, receipts, returns, adjustments, scraping) for all

stocks are properly documented in the ERP.

 Taking ownership of the DIFOT measure and ensuring that these measures meet or exceed

company targets.

 Liaising with other departments to ensure all role players are fully aware of inventory related

issues.

 Control & management of vehicle tyres through Tyre Management System (Budini System).

 Ensuring adherence to the SHEQ process to achieve safety targets, sustain improvements and

ensure safe handling and security of stock and assets.
