Creative, motivational teacher with over 20 years’ experience in successfully and effectively transforming young minds between the ages of three to twelve(3-12) years old; adding value and worth to their lives in moving them on to the next stage of education. A well-rounded individual who has developed strong critical and analytical thinking skills and the capability to effectively use own initiatives to work with negligible supervision. An avid team player, goal oriented, determined and of a sanguine disposition who is willing to learn new skills.
I have pursued a three years Bachelor of Education course in Language Education at the University of the West Indies, Jamaica, where I majored in Literacy Studies. At the end of the course I achieved an Upper Second Class Honour certificate.
I have pursued a four years Diploma course in Primary Education at the Mico University College in Jamaica, where I received a certificate of Credit.
At Tredegar Park Primary and Infant school I have taught grades 2, 3 and 4 or seven to nine year olds. Presently I am teaching four year olds in the Kindergarten section of the school.
At Spanish Town Primary School I have taught grade 1 or six year olds.
I have taught at this Early Childhood Institution before becoming a trained teacher. I have taught 3-5 year olds and have garnered a lot of great experience.
