A position in the metal trades as a welder/ fitter with excellent planning, management and communication skills, capable of working safely in a group, rendering quality services and maximizing output.

BOURBON OFFSHORE GREENMAR SERVICES, Barkly wharf-Le Caudan-port Louis, Republic of Mauritius.

Accomplishments

Still on the maintenance process on various vessels (Bourbon Barretto, Bourbon Barroso, Bourbon Atlantide)

Responsibilities

Building support, to stabilize materials to be transported. Cut rusted surfaces and replaced by prepared ones,

Doing general repairs on the boat that involve cutting defected surfaces and replaced by prepared ones. Read and interpret welding process specifications. Maintenance of pipes and oil tanks, Cut and replace defected pipes and surfaces using Shield meter arc welding process. Repair worn parts of metal product, by welding on extra layers.

DIAMOND OFFSHORE WITH CBS (CABA BUSINESS SERVICES) CAMEROON

Accomplishments

Participate in the completion of the Drilling project by the Rig Ocean Valiant.

Responsibilities

Operate manual welding equipments to fuse metal segments using SMAW.Weld on plates Tanks and pipes. Fabrication of handrails on and around the Rig, Keep work tools in good condition, properly maintained and stored, when not in use, like cutting, welding materials. Plan and develop layout from blueprints and templates, applying knowledge of trigonometry, design, effect of heat and properties of metals. Install doors, hatches, brackets and clips.

ACERGY POLARIS (SUB-SEA7) WITH (ONYX ALLIED SERVICES)

Accomplishments

Participated in the 80km LNG pipeline project in SOYO, ANGOLA.

Responsibilities

Brushing and heating of pipes to facilitate the fusion of filler materials. Fabrication of work tables used in the welding workshop. Did filling and capping on tanks and pipes.Fabication of gangways on the barge. Brace parts in position within hulls or ships for reverting or welding. Layout and fabricate metal structural parts, such as plates, bulkhead and frames.

ACERGY ORION WITH (The NASLAN GROUP)

Accomplishments

Participate in the maintenance process of the Barge at K17, Douala.

Responsibilities

Brush; cleaning and heating of pipes for welding, this facilitates the fusion of filler materials. Assist in carrying out preventive maintenance on cranes and associated lifting gears. Keep hoses, slings, welding, filling machines, coils and other materials properly stored. Prepared and clean deck surfaces, rusted areas, prior to priming and painting. Paint prepared surfaces as directed, that is applying coats of priming and painting.

PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATION AND LICENSING

Welder Approval Test Certificate in accordance with EN1 or 2, SGS Cameroon (SGS 14 08 19).

This certificate shows the Variables used in qualification, that is welding processes, the materials involve, the type of assemblies, and the weld type. It also shows the actual values used in qualification, and the qualification range.

 

Certificate of Appreciation on – (Ocean Valiant Rig) Cameroon.

This certificate is issued for dedicated work performance as an apprentice Welder/Roustabout

 

VOLUNTEESHIP

In 2008, I did some volunteeship with THE NASLAN GROUP, which help me in precision measurement and cutting, welding layout, interpret drawings for metal fabrication, installation, repairs and upgrade for marine vessels in compliance with naval standards.
