Additional Information
I am currently a second semester sophomore at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. I study chemical engineering in the Honors College with concentrations in biochemical engineering and materials science. Fields of interest include applications of polymers for medical technology, nanotechnology, and pharmaceuticals. During my tenure as an undergraduate student, I plan on taking many upper level drug design, pharmacology, and polymer science courses to further my knowledge in these fields. I am actively involved with oSTEM at UMass, our school’s LGBTQ club for STEM students.
I am also involved in my school’s AICHE (American Institute of Chemical Engineers) chapter, where
I am actively involved and get the opportunity to engage with my fellow students, as well as gain experiences into what life will be like as a chemical engineer post-graduation. I am currently the Chapter Representative Elect for AIChE and the Secretary Elect for oSTEM.
