Key duties and assignments
• Assisted in the project design which include needs assessment, design logical frameworks and detailed Implementation plans (DIPs).
• Assisted in the budgeting of funds for various activities.
• Design of monitoring and tracer tools for Monitoring and Evaluation.
• Data collection and data analysis for M & E activities using both quantitative and qualitative techniques.
• Analyse, critique and provide management feedback on Programme Performance and periodic reporting.
• Writing and compiling of monthly and quarterly reports.
• Overseeing day to day running of various projects across Mudzi Area Development Program (ADP).
• Assisted in risk analysis for various development interventions and action plan to mitigate the risks.
• Procurement of essential materials for various projects across the Area Program in Mudzi district.
• Organise and attend multi-stakeholder workshops and meetings.
Organisation Background
GNC Urban and Rural Development Association of Zimbabwe is a Non-Governmental Organization whose main objective is rooted in humanitarian and social work. It focuses mainly on marginalised youth and women in rural areas across the 10 provinces of Zimbabwe. It empowers marginalised communities through advocacy, income generating projects, and skills training among other issues.
Key duties and assignments
• Donor grants proposal writing and review.
• Project design (needs assessment, design logical frameworks, design implementation/ work plans and monitoring & Evaluation frameworks.
• Strategic planning for new and existing programmes.
• Oversee the implementation of policy and strategic plans in the programmes and ensure that all activities have been carried out within the stipulated deadlines.
• Coordinate the planning and budgeting of new and existing programmes and ensure compliance with the donor requirements.
• Feedback on Programme Performance and reporting.
