My initial role was clinical team RLOS manager reviewing and overseeing the coordination of all medical and ancillary equipment throughout the project.
This role developed into one of inspecting the whole of the Diagnostics and treatment areas together with overseeing coordination and project approval duties, resolving detailed and clinical design issues together with approval of all detailed aspects. As part of my site duties, I reviewed and over saw the approval of all room layout sheets for all rooms against the project IFC, user requirements, regulatory requirements and specific medical equipment needs. In addition to this, I reviewed material submittals and samples against project specifications, user requirements and regulatory requirements. I attended reviews of first in place mock up rooms. I stayed with the project past TOC working also with the user in respect of final snagging list inspections, latent changes, additional design work and inspection work.
In addition to these duties, I ran all medical equipment coordination meetings with the contractor, project management team incorporating workshops with specialist vendors where required. Much of this detailed work involved careful coordination with medical equipment vendors in respect of servicing, installation issues, specific spatial issues and if required additional structural issues.
As part of my general duties I produced the clinical team site visit report document.
