I am a 35 year old man who was raised by a father who was a fully qualified carpenter.As a carpenter’s helper my duties are as follows.
1)Perfoming manual labour associated with carpentry
2)Position and hold timbers,lumbers in place for fastening or cutting.
3)Hold plumb bobs,sighting rods or equipment to aid in establishing reference points and lines.
4)Assemble structures and fixtures from wood that can easily be installed to sites.
5)Repair damaged areas when needed.
6)Effectively operate variety of machines and tools to cut or assemble.
7)Erect scalfolding if needed.
8)Listening attentively to the lead carpenter and follow instructios accordingly.
9)Cleaning work area and equipment to mantain a clean and safe working area.
