CONTROL ROOM OPERATOR
· Senior Technical Machine Operator-Roasting.
· Area of responsibility: From the Raw Nibs Hoppers to Roasted Nibs Hoppers on the N5000.
· Keep a clean working environment and ensuring that all guidelines concerning personal hygiene and sanitation are followed.
· Responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of the Roaster on both manual and automatic settings.
· Ensuring that each batch roasted meets the specific process parameters as stated in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
· Ensure that all valves, blowers and other components of the Roaster are fully functional during any shift change-over.
· Responsible for cleaning blowers, conduits, and general work area when there is any downtime.
· Alert Production Manager and his representative when there are any faults while initiating troubleshooting.
· Ensure that work area around Roaster is clean; any product that falls from the Roaster should be collected into re-use plastic liners and isolated for pick-up after alerting the winnower operator
· Double up as Mill or Grinding operator when substantive operator is on break.
· Assist the Lab Technician to take samples when required.
· Assist Maintenance in undertaking Preventative Maintenance on Floor as per schedule.
