§ Supervise the activities of contractors and ensure that all are within the project specifications and engineering practice standards of the client. Review & check contractors Inspection & Test Plan (ITP) and Inspection & Test Records (ITR).
Carry out surveillance & final inspection of electrical and instrumentation
§ Equipment installation. Prepare punch list and coordinate in the inspection and testing with contractors and vendors.
§ Inspect cable tray routes, assembly, earth bonding and general workmanship.
§ Inspect cable banding, glanding, tagging, color coding, bending, shrouding and dressing as per approved for construction drawings and project specifications.
§ Check and inspect all inspection, measuring and test equipment (IMT) and make sure all are with valid calibration certificates which are traceable to International Standards.
§ Check and inspect for the correct location, tagging, tapping and connection of instruments, fire and gas, PA/GA and other control elements.
§ Conduct final inspection based on the latest revisions of the approved for construction drawings and the project specifications prior to shipment of product or upon completion of installation and hook-up activities and then raise a final punch list for outstanding items.
