JOB DESCRIPTION

Administrative function

Assist/Provide technical assistance to the assigned PO’s in the implementation of activities as indicated in the NGP Contract;
Prepare/Assist NGP Weekly and Monthly Accomplishment Report;
Assist in the conduct of monitoring and evaluation of areas under the area of jurisdiction;
Assist GIS Focal in generating MAPs on SMP, Area Development, M&P.
Consolidate generated Map on Site Preparation and Plantation Establishment;
Consolidate Geo-tagged photos of all NGP sites;
Assist the GIS Focal on Mapping in other units;
Socio Economic Assessment and Monitoring System (SEAMS) staff
Encodes and maintain data base for Management Information System (MIS) Undertakes encoding, printing and transmit all communications via Emails to concern Offices/Addresses
Conducts GIS mapping from surveyed areas of CBFM, PO’s and Inventoried sites.
Assists the Forest Management Section in encoding all report and documentations
Assists the Planning Officer in encoding data in preparation of Monthly, Quarterly, Mid-Year Annual reports, Profile and Statistical Reports.
Conduct monitoring and gathering data in all Community Based Forest Management (CBFM) beneficiaries and PO’s for Forestry Information System (FIS)
Encodes and updates data base for Forestry Information System (FIS)
Assists the Utilization Unit in the Issuance of Transport documents
Maintains and/or troubleshoots computer units when needs arises.
Perform other functions as maybe assigned by the NGP Focal Person or the CENRO from time to time.

Operations

Assists in performing and conducts Survey, mapping and Planning within the AOR
Perform and conduct Geo- tagging on National Greening Program (NGP) sites;
Consolidate and generate GIS map output.
Conduct Knowledge, Attitude and Practices (KAP) survey, Data analysis and Generate GIS Map output within the PA area.
Conduct Socio Economic Assessment and Monitoring System (SEAMS) survey, Data analysis and Generate GIS Map output within the PA area.
Conducted Biodiversity Monitoring System (BMS) and Generate GIS Map output within the PA area.
Perform and conduct Geo- tagging on Forest Land Use Plan (FLUP) Assist Land Management Office in GIS mapping at Foreshore areas and sites;
Undertakes monitoring and assists the Community Based Forest Management (CBFM) beneficiaries and PO’s within the AOR
Assist in Validation/Evaluation of CSC areas and generate GIS map output.
Assists in Private Tree Plantation Ownership Certificate (PTPOC) and Certificate of Stewardship Contract (CSC) inventory by means of Geo Tagging;
Conduct survey for Price Monitoring System
