· Input client’s information into the birthmark insurance brokerage system database, and make routine changes.
· Debiting, crediting and receipt of client payments in the system, and issuing receipts accordingly.
· Process incoming checks; create daily ledger of deposits.
· Prepare and send letters (to the various affiliate insurance companies, etc.)
· Meeting file electronic and paper documentation standards that comply with underwriting and authority levels, by ensuring safe keeping and proper accounting of all insurance company’s’ security documents.
· Directors-Keep updated Board contact list and assist with Board mailings
· Conducting regular and periodic underwriting review, and establishments of premiums and other charges for policyholders.
Position: Admission and Discharge Attendant (Attaché)
Organization: Gertrude’s Children’ Hospital (Muthaiga Branch)

Key Responsibilities:
· Explain admission requirements i.e. ward categories, ward rates, NHIF requirements, and completion of pre- authorization forms among others
· Allocate and admit patients to wards of preference.
· Inform companies of admission of their member through scanning and emailing of preauthorization forms, fax or by telephoning.
· Proactively follow letters of undertaking, update invoices from time to time, ensure all requirements of NHIF are availed before actual admission begins.
· Monitor and discuss with parents on the exceeded credit limits and follow up on top ups to regularize the agreed credit limit.
· Rebate NHIF if all documents are available.
· Discharge patients from the system after the due process have been completed.
· Dispatch completed invoices to credit control.
