1. Generally responsible for Daily and monitoring of all mechanical related works offshore equipment as per approved maintenance checklist methods and safety rules.
2. Study and Interprets equipment manuals, drawings an applicable standards or specifications prior to execution of any maintenance jobs on rig machinery.
3. Coordinates to the chief mechanical Team leader directly and assist engineering and technical supports to all the Mechanical work groups at site.
4. Submits site daily reports, fuel consumptions of generators on regular basis as required.
5. Supports the engineering department in accomplishing all the goals and targets for the Mechanical and electrical preventive and corrective maintenance on board the oil rig barge such as Auxiliary engines, air compressors, fuel oil purifiers, Fresh water maker, STP, mud pumps, agitator, shale shaker, accumulator units, HPU units, PRS, TDS, Iron Roughneck, Power Tong, Conveyor, Pipe deck machine and rig cranes.
6. Ensures that all the works done are in accordance with the approved manuals and methodology operations, specifications with the supervision of chief mechanics.
7. Ensures that all machinery and works are done according to all applicable quality maintenance standards.
8. Attends regular Toolbox meeting with mechanics and supervisors on board a rig to provide update on work progress.
