SUMMARY
I have 12 years of solid Petrochemical & Naptha Cracker plants maintenance and engineering experience in the first and only existing integrated polyethylene (PE) , polypropylene (PP) and Naptha plant in the Philippines. · Review of technical bid evaluation issued by the EPC contractor for the selection of critical & long lead rotating and static equipment that includes but not limited to package equipment, centrifugal pumps and positive displacement pumps, centrifugal and positive displacement compressor, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, columns, steam traps, filters, strainers, valves and other mechanical equipment.
· Participation on technical clarification meetings for the selection and procurement of rotating and static equipment.
· Caries out review of detailed engineering done by the EPC contractor for API 610 pumps of OH2, BB2, BB5, VS4 & VS6 design including multistage boiler feed pumps, furnace feed pumps, sea water pumps, cooling water pumps, fire water pumps, booster pumps and high speed integrally geared centrifugal air compressors and positive displacement reciprocating compressor, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, columns, steam traps, valves and other mechanical equipment.
· Review of vendor prints to ensure equipment supplied is consistent with specifications, with complete instruction manual for installation, operation & maintenance.
· Monitor installation of rotating and static equipment to ensure conformance with minimum requirements of API 686 Recommended Practice for Machinery Installation & Installation Design, OEM Installation Manual, Approved Method Statement whichever is stringent.
· Ensure equipment have been installed with the least mean time to repair by considering the equipment space for maintenance both vertical and horizontal space and lifting provisions, lifting gears and special tools have been in-place during the project phase.
· Ensure that approved equipment preservation whether at storage or installed at site is implemented thru random spot-checking.
· Assist the construction site manager and provide recommendations for site design changes originated by construction/installation issues brought by mechanical inspectors and technical queries are timely resolved.
· Participate in the Plot plan review, 3D model review, Design safety workshop and constructability review.
· Identify the required commissioning and start-up. two-year spare parts and capital spares.
· Identify the required special tools for package equipment, lube oil requirements.
· Prepare equipment bill of materials and re-ordering point for all equipment.
· Identify preventive maintenance frequency and task list and incorporate to SAP.
· Participate in the punch listing of the plant as per mechanical discipline.

· Organize labor and resources in carrying out daily plant maintenance activities to ensures that work are executed following the established standard work instruction procedures and completed within set targets, safety and quality standards.
· Supervise in carrying out complex jobs of installation, repair and maintenance of various mechanical equipments and systems.
· Prepares daily work assignment of subordinates indicating the activities to be done required man-hours and target completion.
· Closely monitor mechanical maintenance daily activities, checks progress and guides subordinates to ensure necessary equipment maintenance checklist i.e. inspection reports, test-runs are properly implemented in close coordination with PMRT and Maintenance Planning Group before equipment is handed back to operation.
· Directly supervises the approved mechanical works, maximizing the use of available manpower, tools, devices and materials to finish the work on schedule conforming with the established standards.
· Analyzes / Diagnoses and troubleshoots equipment problems and decides within prescribed time limit the best troubleshooting solutions to problems encountered.
· Coordinates with external and internal customers/consultants relative to equipment performance, PM/CM activities, equipment upgrading, testing, etc.
· Contributes valuable inputs with the team in planning periodic/preventive/predictive/pro-active maintenance in long- term basis.
· Plans and schedules all critical work requests based on the daily-received work order from Maintenance Planning group.

· Responsible for complying quality systems and procedures as regards to Preventive Maintenance and Testing
· Assists, guides and provides other maintenance groups the inspections and testing requirements that are essential for the proper maintenance of the plant
· Lead and provide guidance in the functional test of all mechanical equipment after maintenance works or prior to commissioning after servicing at standby
· Conduct performance test on all equipment such as the following in order to validate and check operability
· Trends and analyzes data gathered relative to equipment performance and life cycle. Recommends preventive measures / actions to ensures equipment availability and incessant and reliable operations
· Provides guidance and advise on action to be taken on chronic problems and reviews requirement for major repair and spare replacement
· Co-ordinate the activities of contracted craftsmen in the plant with operations personnel and arrange shutdowns and permits to work
· Reviews requirements for mechanical materials, spare parts and equipment, advise on stock level and material description
· Follows up on work maintenance contractors and provides field supervision over work execution. Includes reviewing contractor’s regular reports, assessing their performance and providing advice as necessary
· Monitors availability of needed materials and equipment
· Guides and recommends to maintenance the required material to carry out necessary repairs
· Ensure accuracy of information in inventory database and proper spare parts withdrawal and utilization
· Identify material specifications and determines / ensures spares availability, recommends spare substitutes and conducts inspections and acceptance of delivered materials and maintenance spares
· Coordinates with production planning and production personnel about the prioritization of project engineering works and other relevant activities
· Coordinates with the purchasing personnel all immediate purchases of parts/components, equipment and manpower supply belonging to project engineering activities
· Supervises the actual implementation of projects and control of resources and direct monitoring of project status
· Conducts technical and economic evaluation of engineering design and package (project viability) based on safety, cost evaluation, and standard engineering codes and practices
