Job Description:
To operate Rubber Tyred Gantry(RTG) cranes to load to and or unload containers from Internal tractor(ITV) and external road trucks, and to move container in the container terminal within given safety and operational policies and procedures in the most efficient way.

Responsibilities:
1. Stack container within the allocated stacking areas in the yard and update every move executed into the specific device called the Vehicle Mounted Terminal(VMT).

2. Give priority to Internal Tractors (ITV) than the road tractors; vessel loading than discharging, delivering import containers, and receiving export containers.

3. Monitor the performance of the equipment and report any safety problems, malfunctions or damages during or after the shift.

4. Inspects equipment at the beginning of shift to ensure that all of the parts and functions are operating properly.

5. Provide assistance to the Engineering Department when required.

6. Perform other duties required as instructed by the supervisor.
Train new Trainees when required

Job Description:
To provide support using RTG cranes to sort and move containers in the terminal therefore adding support to the smooth functioning of the port’s operation.

Responsibilities:
1. To operate RTG cranes in safely and efficient manner in the terminal thereby ensuring smooth movement of the container in the yard until relieved end of the shift as per instruction of the yard foreman.
2. To sort and move containers within allocated stacking areas in timely and organized manner and update the VMT/specific terminal devices after the execution of their assigned work order.
3. To ensure that the equipment is always in good condition for operation and reports any fault immediately to yard foreman.
4. To hand-over all necessary information regarding the status of the equipment and unfinished work to the next shift operator.
5. To have a good understanding of the yard layout and standard processes.
6. To ensure compliance with safety policies and safe work practices.
7. To take business visitors around the port as per the direction of the department to promote the image of the port.
8. To train new trainees when required.

Position: TRAILER TRUCK DRIVER

Job Description:
