Corpuz, a FILIPINO national, a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with a Philippine government licensed as a Registered Electrical Engineer.  I am seeking challenging roles with a significant background for over 18 years of experience in Electrical discipline, an enthusiastic and proactive, who has key skills in Oil &Gas, Power & Desalination plant generation CCGT & Thermal, DCS control room operation, Hot and cold commissioning, Testing, Start-up and shutdown, Warranty, Operation and maintenance, troubleshooting, field activities coordination, plant customized procedures, Power generation dispatching, Substation engineer, Responsible for directing Power plant operators in safe, reliable and efficient operation of the power plant which includes HRSG, gas and steam turbines, generators, BOP associated auxiliary equipment in accordance with Operations Department Policies, or as directed by the Production Manager. Responsible for coordinating and communicating with other Maintenance Managers, departments and shared facilities personnel to analyze and resolve problems duties and responsibilities.

Hands-on operating of Plant Control System (DCS) & (SCADA) with experience in Teleperm XP (Siemens), Yokogawa, Toshiba and Foxboro.

Commissioning of equipment’s and auxiliaries according to the instruction safe start-up procedure of vendors and client Engineers. Responsible for overseeing the erection & installation of all electrical works and associated electrical auxiliary systems/components, generators, protection equipment, etc., as well as all electrical power systems, switching of LV, MV, HV and power distribution equipment.

Project sites that I am directly involved includes, Steam and Gas Turbine / Combine cycle power and Desalination plant in Libya. Thermal Power Plant GLIZ& GL2Z a Natural Liquefied Gas (LNG) in Sonatrach Algeria. Dubai Electricity & Water Authority (DEWA) in Jebel Ali Power Plant L Station in U.A.E. Three units of Combined Cycle Power and Desalination MSF type in Algeria.  Power and Water, Steam turbine BPST (Back pressure steam turbine), Desalination MSF type in SWCC in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Substations Offshore/ Onshore & marine at RasLaffan Ship Yard Facility Project in Qatar. Qatar Petroleum Raslaffan Port Expansion Project, RLIC. Tufanbeyli  Coal fired Thermal Power Plant, Republic of Turkey/ Balingasag Coal fired Thermal Power Plant Philippines.Coal fire Thermal Power Plant Thai Binh, Vietnam.  Commissioning Oil and Gas in Kuwait. Schlumberger KOC.

Nature of Work:
 Responsible for the safe operation a four-unit 637t/h MCR Boiler and 4X 120 MW Steam Turbine back pressure type through DCS.
 Take necessary action to prevent equipment failure, respond to alarms by taking appropriate corrective actions and execute plant shut-down and start-up procedures as required.
 Assure that the plant meets requirements while operating in a safe and efficient manner.
 Regulates the voltage and frequency, and controls active and reactive power flow in the network
 Prepare permit to work and other safety permits and acquire appropriate approvals.
 Operation Monitoring, Process control of equipment and information system all activities to be made should be in logs.
 Informs management about important events and abnormalities.
 Coordinates with other maintenance and functional department for the safe operation of the Plant.
 Supervise in any operational activities in safe start-up and shutdown of plant.
 Initiated preparation of Plant Daily Production Report, like as power generation export, water,Chemical and fuel Consumption report annual & Monthly report, improvements report.
 Perform Synchronize and De-Synchronize of the Generator to the grid. And initiate preparation of work request through Asset management and maintenance
 Provided engineering support for plant modification.
 Ensure that all activities in the day-to-day operation are carried out in a manner safe for personnel and equipment and minimizing the impact on the environment.
 General housekeeping, isolation and preparation of equipment for maintenance.
 Continuously monitors conditions of running and static equipment during the course of the shift, is able to identify problems as they arise and seek appropriate assistance.
 Sampling and laboratory testing in plant lab.
 Logs and acts on Lab results.
 Liaises with Panel Operator and co-workers
 Communication of events to Shift Supervisor and oncoming shift personnel
 Liaison with other operators and flexibility to work in other areas should it be required
 Troubleshoot and analyze process conditions continuously during the shift to maintain optimal operation.
 Understands his role in maintaining the Site Safety and Environment plan.
 Communicates relevant changing conditions and situations to Panel Operator & Shift Supervisor.
 Involved pre-commissioning and activities of 4 units Boiler a 637t1h MCR capacity each with a backpressure type Steam turbine Generator 120 MW each capacity. Like chemical soda boiling process, steam blow and line flushing, loop leak checking and pump performance check.
 Load rejection test, island operation test and hot operation test, high-speed bus transfer Test, AVR hot operation test, thermal expansion test, fuel change over test gas to oil, plant Performance guarantee test 1 and 2, reliability test, hazard and risk analysis were done for the Plant to improve
the safety condition inside the plant.
