SCOPE:
Manage and supervise contractor on construction activities of telecommunications systems for plant areas as well as building facilities. This system includes but not limited to LAN, Hot line & Telephone systems, PAGA systems, TETRA radio systems, CCTV systems as well as Fiber optic outside plant cabling system and SDH interconnection and provides hands-on supervision in the installation and configuration of such systems.

Review and familiarize engineering and vendor drawing and understand interface points with other discipline.

Review and provide comment on commissioning procedures prepared by vendor /contractor.

Ensure construction activity plan are adhered to and meet construction schedule as planned. Ensure completion target and within scope.

Ensure installation procedures are adhered to and compliance to construction and engineering and safety standards are met including compliance to Saudi Aramco and other relevant international standards.

Coordinate with Inspection department for issues related to compliance on construction standard and adherence to Aramco standard and design specifications.

Coordinate and follow-up with vendor and supplier for issues on materials and material deliveries and
make sure material is not a factor to affect construction activities.

Coordinate with other Aramco department on matters relating to network management change and inter connectivity issues including engineering department for various details and engineering changes issues.

Conduct BER testing of transmission link, cable continuity testing and qualification.

Conduct OTDR testing on FOC cable for inter-platform links.
