Achievements:

 

·         Manage the overall basketball operations of the Flying V Thunder Team that participated in the Developmental League (D-   League) of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA), the professional basketball league of the Philippines.

–          Work with the Head Coach on the planning and execution of programs and activities of the team

–          Manage the recruitment of players and negotiations of players’ contract.

–          Plan, prepare and manage the disbursement of budget including salaries and incentives

–          Manage the logistical requirement of the team i.e. scheduling of practice venues, food, medical/sports supplies and equipment, medical care, transportation, uniforms, etc.

·         Represent the team to the PBA D-League.

·         Manage the publicity of the team and at times, be the spokesperson for the team in media.

Achievements:

·         Manage the overall facility operations of the Filoil Flying V Centre: engineering, maintenance, administration, safety and security, housekeeping and finance.     (commencing August 2015)

–          Assist the Centre Manager and Operations Manager in the preparation of business plan for the Filoil Flying V Centre. Oversee the implementation and assure its completion to expected targets.

–          Together with the Centre Manager, prepare and manage budget and review budget/financial performance of the Filoil Flying V Arena.

–          Develops and maintains strong relationships with various stakeholders: clients, suppliers, locators, sponsors, local government officials/units, etc.

 

·         Plan and manage the annual Filoil Flying V Basketball Tournament (January – June)

–       Coordinate and make representations with colleges and universities and other regional schools – Athletic Directors, Coaches (Juniors, Womens and Mens) and cheering/pep squads

–       Supervise mobilization of tournament referees, table officials and statisticians

–       Coordinate and consult tournament technical requirement with commissioners and officiating group (e.g. Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas – national sport association for basketball in the Philippines)

–       Conduct annual Coaches Meeting/Briefing on tournament guidelines, updates on FIBA rules and officiating, game schedules and other developments

–       Plan out groupings of team and tournament schedule (in consultation with participating teams for their availability) and coordinate with Filoil Flying V Arena (venue)
