Assist Vendors and Contractors for plant commissioning such as cleaning of
process line (Nitrogen purging, checking of dew point and leak point), checking of
all instruments installed are functional and calibrated (pressure transmitter,
temperature transmitter, level transmitter, analyzer, analog gauges).
 To ensure that all parameters and setting are based on the process and equipment
requirement which are: input of raw materials, (Trichlorosilane-TCS, Silicon
Tetrachloride-STC, Hydrogen-H2 and Nitrogen-N2) process cooling for reactor
and electrodes and Power Supply for generating high voltage.
 Conduct regular inspection on the process line and reactors to ensure that no leak
or damage in every parts and equipment to prevent early shutdown of reactor or
safety incident that may cause harm to people and damage to property.
 Report all issues and concerns to Supervisor and Direct Superior.
 Review engineering documents including PFD, P&ID and Equipment data sheets.
 Operate Chillers and basic troubleshooting.
 Operates Equipment such as Hydrogen, Nitrogen, and Air compressor and do
regular inspection specifically for their cooling system and oil level that may cause
shutdown of the equipment.
 Operates different unit of pumps such as centrifugal, reciprocating pump that
supply in the process area.
 Do preparation for the start-up and end run of reactor. Ensure all battery limits
are open or closed during start or end run of reactors.
 Perform leak check in Reactor and process line.
 Timely monitoring of slim rods inside the reactor for possible problem may occur
during deposition.
 Issue the permit system (Hot work, cold work, confine space entry, work at
height).
 Checking Leakages, monitor readings, pump and motor conditions.

Manage and control Startup and shutdown activities of plant.
 Review engineering documents including PFD, P&ID and Equipment data sheets.
 Construct and maintain data sheets for new improvement schemes
 Conduct Hazard and Operability Study (HAZOP) for all existing and newly
introduced schemes
 Assisting and reporting to the shift in charge.
Start-up and changeover of various pumps.

 Monitoring plant conditions on a regular basis and participating in start-up and
shut-down operations.
 Checking Leakages, monitor readings, pump and motor conditions.
 Make daily reports of all activities in the plant.
 Reporting all abnormalities and failure to control room and to take corrective
measures and routine.
