I. WORK EXPERIENCES AT NIPPON PAINT PHILIPPINES, INC.

a. ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER – Industrial Coating Business(April 2016-present)

Responsible in overall business operations of the organization. Serves as the top executive of the company and is responsible for strategy, structure, budgets, people and financial outcomes and scorecard metrics.

Reports to the corporate executive and the group CEO of Nippon Paint Group.

b. DIRECTOR – INDUSTRIAL USED SALES AND MARKETING (June 2012- 2016)

In-charge with the whole operation of sales and marketing of industrial used paint. Control finish goods inventory at economical level. Directs new market segment for business growth. Analyze market demand and provide initiative to improve market share. Control RMC at profitable level. Generate and work within the sales target and provide sales generating activities.

1. Ensures VP-Technical is adequately supported to perform Technical Service and achieve customer satisfaction.

2. Ensures adherence to product design and development policies and procedures.

3. Organize and delegates responsibility to subordinates according to the needs of the company.

4. Formulates over-all thrust of the department in relation to company plans and goals.

5. Guides the department in the design and development of new products as well as re-designing of existing products.

In charge with the whole safety activity of the whole plant including planning and implementation of the ISO 90001 and ISO 14001 System Program of the company particularly on the Manufacturing Division.
Responsible for the implementation of safety activities of the company with reference to Occupational Safety and Health Standard. Also responsible for the management of pollution (air emission, solid waste, waste water, etc.) generated inside the company, with reference to Environmental Laws.
f. PLANT/PRODUCTION MANAGER (Jan 2006~June 2006)

Direct and control the plant operation of the company covering the following departments and sections; 1) Production, 2) Quality Control, 3) Planning & Control Division (PCD), 4) Warehouse (RM/FG) & Delivery, 5) Maintenance
Assist in formulating policies, strategies & programs for the factory operations and lead in their implementation to meet the company’s manufacturing objectives
Ensure the efficient utilization and proper care of the plant and its facilities and see to it that the manufacturing operation is running in a most cost- effective way, maximizing the use of machines, manpower, materials, space & time.
Continuously effect improvements on productivity, quality & safety, and rationalization of manufacturing process.
Promote 5S and enhance safety consciousness, and lead in the implementation of Safety rules and emergency response procedures.
Uphold company policies, and enforce company rules and regulations.
Review periodically the performance of plant operations to ensure attainment of management goals and objectives.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

To ensure that the processes needed for the QMS and EMS are established, implemented and maintained within the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO/TS16949 and ISO 14001 and any other such approval as the company may need and secure from time to time.
To ensure that resources are adequate to carry out the quality and environmental tasks within the organization.
To ensure the promotion of customer requirements throughout the organization.
To ensure that necessary verification activities are undertaken to monitor and to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of the QMS and EMS.
To ensure that internal audit programs are effectively implemented.
To ensure that periodic reviews are conducted to permit continual improvement of the Quality and Environmental Management Systems.
To ensure that timely and effective action is taken by appropriate staff to maintain integrity of the Quality and Environmental Management Systems.
To act as a liaison to the external parties on matters relating to QMS and EMS.
To perform the duties of Management Representative in compliance with the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO/TS16949 and ISO 14001.
To ensure the protection of the environment through the development of environment friendly products.
To report to top management the performance of the quality management system and any need for improvement.
