A highly motivated Health & Safety Advisor with 9 years’ experience, very organised and able to manage time effectively. I now have a very good insight into the Health & Safety requirements of holiday accommodation from all over the world; including long and short haul destinations and also including winter ski destinations.  I am able to communicate effectively and pride myself on my ability to work well under pressure, on my own initiative or as part of a team. I am flexible and willing to be based overseas from and within multiple locations, with the ability to undertake extensive overseas travel.

Responsibilities

 

To plan, arrange and undertake physical inspections of third party suppliers (accommodation, transport and excursion) according to pre-defined criteria and standards.
These inspections would mainly include fire, hygiene, pool, gas, balcony, general safety checklists.
Maintaining up to date records relating to the status of properties within the geographical area of responsibility.
Liaise with suppliers and ensure target dates are met and remedial work is completed in accordance with recommendations.
Ensure any areas of high risk are escalated to senior management as appropriate, responsible for ongoing monitoring and ensuring hoteliers comply with any restrictions imposed.
Investigate illness, incidents and accidents to ensure issues are addressed and to prevent re occurrence.
Responsible for managing my own personal/business expenditure and assisting in the development of new starters to the department.
