Various projects through the community, collecting data and managing relationships with a variety on people from
a wide cross section of Pristina and other areas of Kosovo. Below are some of projects i worked during my tenure at
UBO Consulting:
1. OPINION POLLING
Some projects from this field:
a) Perception on the independence and impartiality of the Judiciary of Kosovo (OSCE)
This project consisted of a nation-wide survey of 1500 members of the public to research and assess
their perception on the independence and impartiality of the judiciary in Kosovo.
b) Kosovo Europian perspective supported from EU office in Pristina
European Union Office in Kosovo conducts an annual comprehensive study of the Kosovo population to look
at attitudes towards EU integration
c) Public Mitigation survey (NDI)
This study was intended to: identify perceptions of all ethnic communities regarding coexistence between
different ethnicities.
d) Mosaic Survey (UNDP)
e) Public Opinion Survey (NATO, KFOR)
The objective of this research study was to measure and gain insight into general media habits and
preferences, KFOR image attitudes and expectations regarding current and future events.
f) Integrity Scan of the Institutions of Kosovo (LEVIZJA FOL)
The purpose of this research was to shed light on the knowledge of employees in public institutions on the legal
framework for integrity and other duties and responsibilities regarding the civil service of the Republic of Kosovo.
2. SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC POLICY
ANALYSIS – Some projects from this
field:
a)Identification of unregistered persons of Kosovo (UNHCR)
The main objectives of this study were to identify the total number of unregistered people belonging to
Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian communities
b) Taxpayers Survey in Kosovo (GIZ)
The data gathered through this project aimed to give a picture of the situation in Kosovo and inform GIZ and
TAK consequently on areas which need prioritization according to taxpayers’ perception.
c) National Rights Program Survey (USAID)
This survey was commissioned to measure user satisfaction with court services on resolving property disputes;
changes in attitudes/behaviors about women’s rights to inherit property and engage in economic activities; and
citizens’ increased knowledge of their property rights.
d)Research on Gender barriers Regarding Women participation in Education and Employment in
Tourism Sector in Kosovo ( SYRI VISION)
The purpose of this study was to analyze data (both quantitative and qualitative) in order to reach important
conclusions on the situation of tourism and gender barriers that are posed to women regarding their employment.
3. SOCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL
STUDIES – Some projects from this
field:
a) Stakeholders Survey on the election issues (IFES, 2016)
The data collected in this study was intended to be used to support electoral institutions with information on stakeholder
perceptions of election management and the electoral legal framework in Kosovo.
b) Public Pulse of Corruption (UNDP).
For the purpose of this research civil servants were interviewed in order to get a complete overview on the level of corruption in
different sectors and institutions in Kosovo.
c) The influence of complex procedures on corruption stimulation in Kosovo Customs (USAID)
The study aimed to identify the prevalence of corruption and to find out the possible effects of complex procedures that are
considered to be the cause of corruption in Kosovo Customs.
d)Follow-up Assessment on impact act from irregular electricity supply on Kosovar Business (USAID)
This study aimed at providing information regarding the overall impact of irregular electricity supply on Kosovo’s private sector
e) Municipal Competitiveness Index (USAID)
The primary goal of the MCI is to improve the productivity and performance of private businesses by identifying and
reducing extraneous regulatory burdens, corruption, and opacity of the legal environment.
4. PROJECT EVALUATION AND IMPACT
ASSESSMENT – Some projects from this
field:
a)Impact review/income on income Generation Activities and community Development Initiatives Implemented
by Foundation Kosovo-Luxemburg 2017
The main purpose of this assessment was to identify the impact that FKL’s interventions have had on improving the lives of its
beneficiaries, by analyzing the concrete results that were achieved and the challenges faced and lessons learned throughout the
project’s implementation.
b)Youth employment and entrepreneurship in Kosovo (UNICEF)
This evaluation intended to assess and document the impact of this project in Kosovo by examining program results against their
overall goal and objectives, summarizing findings, addressing lessons learned, and providing recommendations for its follow-on
programming and program development.
c) Study on Impact and sustainability on learning Centers (COUNCIL ON EUROPE & UNICEF)
The objectives of this study were to evaluate the impact and sustainability of these centers, and to
provide future recommendations to key stakeholders
