WORK EXPERIENCE

DESIGNATION : Design Engineer
RESPONSIBILITIES : Design and detailed engineering of Steel Structures.
T-Hub, Hyderabad,Telangana (9000 MT)
The scope of work included Connection design & Erection Engineering of G+10 building. The building spans as cantilever from four central Core walls. Prepared Connection Design sheets for different types of welded Rectangular Hollow section Joints. Connections were designed according to IS 800: 2007 & EN 1993-1-1 & 8. Associated with the Designer in generating the Steel Connection detailed drawings and shop drawings.
Also involved in Erection Engineering for the building which includes Modeling and analysis of temporary support structures using STAAD Pro, Deciding splice locations, Sequential analysis, Preparing crane movement schedule, Design of lifting lug and Erection cleat, Retaining wall design etc.
Merdeka PNB-118, Malaysia (12000 MT)
The scope of work included Connection design for PNB 118 which is a 118-storey, 644- metre building currently under construction in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Prepared Connection Design sheets for shear connections, Moment connections, Steel to concrete Embed connections etc. Connections were designed according to BS 5950:1-2000. Associated with the Designer in generating the General arrangement drawing and Steel Connection detailed drawings Co- ordinated with client for getting approval of submitted design and drawings. Also associated with Tekla Designer for the preparation of fabrication drawings.
LOT-91 Sapura, Malaysia (4000 MT)
The scope of work included Connection design & Erection Engineering of KLCC LOT 91 which is 252m tall building under construction in Malaysia. The main Structural Engineer for the project is Leslie Robertson Associates. Prepared Connection Design sheets for shear connections, Moment connections, Steel to concrete Embed connections etc. Connections were designed according to BS 5950:1-2000. Associated with the Designer in generating the Steel Connection detailed drawings and shop drawings. Also involved in Erection Engineering for the building which includes Modeling and analysis of temporary support structure using STAAD Pro, deciding
splice locations, Sequential analysis, Preparing crane movement schedule, Design of lifting lug and Erection cleat, Retaining wall design etc.
Hotel Check Inn, Mumbai (15MT)
The scope of work included Member design and connection design for floor extension of Hotel Check INN which is a G+9 building situated in Mumbai. The structure is analyzed and designed according to IS: 800. Prepared Connection Design sheets for shear connections, Moment connections, Steel to concrete Embed connections etc. Also done post fixing connection for steel to existing RCC building. Connections were designed according to BS 5950:1-2000. Associated with the Designer in generating the Steel Connection detailed drawings and shop drawings. Co- ordinated with procurement team and also associated with Tekla Designer for the preparation of fabrication drawings.

RESPONSIBILTIES : Design and detailed engineering of Steel Structures, Design/detailed
Engineering of RC Multi-storeyed Structure.
Design of Equipment Structure:
The scope of work included the Design & Detailed Engineering of the equipment structure (Blower Unit and associated piping) to be mounted @ +8.000 TOS. The weight of the equipment together with other process related loads arrived to be 155kN. Operating Live load of 5kN/m2 is considered in open area around equipment. The structure is with pitched roofing @ height +12.500m.The structure is analysed and designed according to IS: 800. Seismic Analysis was performed according to IS: 1893 and consideration of seismic forces included in the design as per client requirement.
Associated with the Designer in generating the Steel Connection detailed drawings and shop drawings. Steel Detailing was done using TEKLA Structures. Was involved in the modeling of structure in TEKLA 2016.
Design of G+3 Multi-storeyed RC structure in Kollam, Kerala
The scope of work included the design and detailed drawings including bar bending schedule for a G+3 residential dwelling apartment in Kollam, Kerala. The Structure has been analysed using STAAD Pro and the design of the structural members performed according to IS: 456 recommendations. Foundation design is performed using STAAD foundation. Ductile detailing provided incorporated as per IS: 13920. Associated with the draughtsman for generation of RC detailed drawings.
