DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Mechanical Engineer (February 2015 to May 2017)
• Direct and supervise the activities of maintenance staff in carrying out maintenance services of all categories of rotating and static equipment.
• Review rotating equipment diagnostic reports and conduct machine condition monitoring across the refinery, coordinate with the operation team and advising maintenance staff for corrective action accordingly.
• Troubleshoot plant machinery problems, conduct root cause analysis and recommend engineering solutions
• Execute and administer plant Predictive Maintenance (PM) / Corrective Maintenance (CM) program and liaise with maintenance team (external maintenance contractor, vendors & specialists) as required to improve machinery reliability.
• Ensure approved planned maintenance sequential of activities & work prioritization and availability of required resources (spare parts, tools, drawings & manpower) are carried out accordingly as per scheduled.
• Utilize plant / management system in terms of work execution, material reservation, history update, budget control and purchasing.
• Establish and maintain comprehensive maintenance records.
• Ensures scheduled preventive, corrective, breakdown and turnaround maintenance of all rotating equipment issues are carried out in accordance to work request order and approved scope of work.

• Review subcontractors and suppliers invoices and submit them for approval. Maintain good documentation system for implemented works including capturing photos for various work implementation stages.
• Work & ensure any expenditure outside of the approved budget is monitored and controlled.
